Since our founding in 1973, Covenant Presbyterian Church has desired to be faithful to the Holy Scriptures and to guard it's teachings, for in these ancient Words are buried the answers to the great mysteries and questions of life. Questions like these:
Who am I? What is my purpose in life?
Does truth exist or is everything relative?
Is there a God? Can I have a personal relationship with Him?
Why am I so miserable at times?
What is sin? Does it really exist?
If death is only natural, why am I afraid to die?
How can I get relief from the anxiety and guilt I feel?
Is Jesus Christ truly who they say He is? Is He the only way to heaven? Why did He have to die such a painful death? Did He come back to life? Is it true that He is both God and Man?
What about other religions? Why isn't being good, good enough? What about those who have never heard of Christ?
Is there really going to be a judgment day? Does heaven and hell exist? Can I know for certain that if I die today I will go to heaven?
If God is so loving, why is there so much pain, tragedy, war, famine and calamity in the world? Is it the end of the world?
What must I do to be saved from the wrath of God that will eventually afflict all who reject God's way?
What's is the Holy Trinity? The Sovereignty of God? Predestination? Providence? The Elect? Regeneration? Faith? Justification? Sanctification? Adoption? Glorification?
How can I be a better parent? Why are my children so hard to control? Where can I find help in time of crisis?
Can a true Christian be depressed? Can a true Christian loose their salvation?
Why do some churches baptize children? Why do some sprinkle and other's immerse? What is a covenant?
The Bible deals with these issues and many more. We here at Covenant tap into this wonderful storehouse of Biblical content through sound preaching and teaching. Much of what we set forth is not being taught today as it once was. Often it is misunderstood or stated wrongly, so we thought we’d help by clarifying to you what we believe and invite you to worship with us. Come, taste and see that the Lord is good (See Home for the schedule of when we meet).
